Suspends Najar from basic membership

Militant outfit Hizbul Mujhadeen Thursday said that in the light of the report submitted by the inquiry commission, it has suspended Abdul Qayoom Najar from the basic membership of the organization as according to the outfit the said militant was found involved in the killing of innocent people and the recent attacks on cellular towers in Kashmir Valley.

Hizb blames ‘militant’ for tower attacks and killingsIn a statement to CNS, Hizb spokesperson Salim Hashmi while quoting the Chief Commander of the outfit Syed Salahuddin said that Abdul Qayoom Najar is no more a part of the Hizb and he should not be linked with the organization. “During his address to the Hizb Command Council, Syed Salahuddin said that the basic membership of Najar has been suspended as he played a key role in murdering some innocent persons, indulged in character assassination of Hurriyat leaders and attacked the telecommunication set up in Valley.”

“The report submitted by the inquiry commission has proved that Qayoom Najar in an utter disregard to the Hizb leadership violated the constitution of the outfit and carried out condemnable acts. Our constitution does not allow or permit such actions,” Salahuddin said.

Salahuddin said that such anti-people activities always prove counterproductive for the freedom movement and advertently or inadvertently such acts help the anti-freedom movement elements.

Condemning the anti-freedom movement acts of self-styled Lashkar-e-Islam organization, Syed Salahuddin said that every attempt to weaken the ongoing Freedom Struggle in Kashmir will be foiled. (CNS)

Traders Bodies called for Kashmir Bandh against Rajouri incident
Srinagar, 23 July, CNS: Kashmir traders bodies have jointly decided to observe Kashmir Bandh against the Rajouri incident on Saturday July 25.

In a joint statement to CNS all the major trader bodies including the both factions of Kashmir Economic Alliance, Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its affiliated associations, Federation Chamber of Industries Kashmir, Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation said that the sordid and reprehensible disruptive events taking place in Rajouri have shaken the faith of people in general and the business fraternity in particular in the system of administration followed in the State of J&K.

“The business organizations do therefore in one voice express their solidarity with the people of Rajouri/Ponch in the first place while they have been noting the over tones of the vested interest raised either by claiming establishment of AIIMS, IIT, IIM are dislodging people from different areas of the State on the pretext of reclaiming the forest land and creating feud between the communities by desecrating the articles of their faith (Kalima Toiba).”

“The business fraternity therefore condemn the forces who are bent upon disrupting the peace and drawings wedge between the communities who have the age old history of brotherhood and community living. In protest we unanimously therefore declare Kashmir Bandh to be observed by one and all on Saturday the 25th of July, 2015. We also appeal all the socio-religious organizations to support the Bandh call in the interest of integrity of the state of J&K,” the statement reads. (CNS)
