RSS backed conspiracies against Jammu Muslims won’t succeed: Malik

Terming the situation in Rajouri as an attempt to harass Jammu Muslims, JKLF chairman Yasin Malik Friday said attempts to ‘frighten them at the behest of RSS is a conspiracy and communal scheme is being backed up and supported by all pro–India parties and leaders of PDP, NC, Congress and communists who have maintained criminal silence over these attempts.’

Malik said the criminal silence and silent support is actually like ‘facilitating the ethnic cleansing’ of Jammu Muslims and an attempt to repeat 1947.  He said Muslims of Kashmir will not remain silent spectators over this alarming situation and will do everything possible to safeguard the rights and lives of Jammu Muslims.

He said after the formation of PDP-BJP government, Jammu Muslims are being targeted and terrorized in a systematic manner and an atmosphere of fear is being created among them. He said the rulers at the behest of RSS are trying to repeat 1947 and by displacing Muslims from Jammu belt are actually engaged in fulfilling RSS agenda of demography change in Jammu region. He said these incidents of desecrating Islamic symbols, hurting sentiments of Muslims, displacing them from their homes in the name of forest land, and creating fear among Muslims in Chenab valley by deploying Hindu officers in place of Muslim officers is not tolerable and growing anger among Kashmiris over this and concern is legitimate.

He said that 1947 like situation is being created throughout Jammu, Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, Kishtwar, Baderwah and Ramban areas and rulers want to displace Muslims from these areas so that is becomes easy for them to settle down RSS agents and workers from outside the state in these areas. He said that separating Jammu Kashmir on communal lines is old agenda of RSS and so called government by following policies like these is actually fulfilling the condemnable agenda. He said Kashmiris won’t watch “atrocities on Jammu Muslims silently and will do everything possible to safeguard the interests of Jammu Muslims.”
