Geelani true representative of people: DPM
General Secretary, Democratic Political Movement (DPM) Advocate Muhammed Shafi Reshi Tuesday while addressing a party meeting said that Hurriyat Conference headed by Syeed Ali Geelani has been representing the Hurriyat constitution of 1993 which clearly says UN resolutions are the basis for the resolution of long standing Kashmir Issue. He said that, “If any talks are started in future for the resolution of Kashmir Issue by India Pakistan or the international Community, the Hurriyat head by the Geelani should be included as a party.”
“The Hurriyat headed by Syed Ali Geelani is representing all the sections of society and all the provinces. Besides representing the provinces, it represents the aspirations of the people of Jammu & Kashmir and has sacrificed a lot for the implementation of the UN resolutions,” he said.
