NC hints at PDP-Cong alliance
National Conference (NC) spokesman Junaid Mattu today said there were “strong rumours” that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was planning an alliance with the Congress and some Independent legislators.
“Strong rumours about the PDP’s imminent realignment with the Congress and some independent legislators. Would you be surprised?” Mattu wrote on Twitter. NC working president Omar Abdullah responded to Mattu’s tweet, saying “nothing would surprise me”.
“After the Modi-Mufti accord where Mufti Sahib and his party are concerned nothing would surprise me,” Omar further wrote on Twitter.
