Wind up ‘KP rehabilitation industry’: Er Rashid

‘Job packages meant to impose Hindu supremacy over Muslims’
Wind up ‘KP rehabilitation industry’ - Er RashidAwami Ittihaad Party (AIP) president and MLA Langate Er Rashid Thursday asked the centre and state government to ‘wind up the industry established for so called rehabilitation’ of Kashmiri Pandits and appealed Kashmiri leaders of all thoughts to give up their personal agendas and egos to protect the rights of Muslim majority community.
In a statement, while addressing party workers at Sopore Town, Er Rashid condemned central government for providing 3000 jobs and 6000 residential quarters to these ‘self styled migrants.’
Er Rashid said, “It were the Kashmiri Muslims who suffered worst at the hands of state and non state actors. Their children were deprived of education due to turmoil and used as human shields in encounters and were subjected to forced labor for more than 15 years. These Kashmiri Pandits didn’t care about Kashmir which they have been calling Matrabumi and do forget that from Ikhwanis to NC workers and from police Jawans to informers of security agencies it were Kashmiri Muslims who despite being hated by huge majority of Kashmiris for their acts, fought and sacrificed their lives for upholding Indian Flag in Kashmir. It is Kashmiri Muslims and people of Chinab and Pirpanjal regions who deserve the packages for their unbelievable sufferings but Central government is provoking them by treating Kashmiri Pandits like very important citizens.”
Er Rashid alleged that the act is to ‘reduce the supremacy’ of Muslim community in the administration which is already under threat after ‘RSS sponsored’ government has taken over in the state, as it has started removing Muslim officers from prestigious postings in civil secretariat and Jammu region.
He added, “How can these Pandits still be called migrants if they will serve in a place where from they claim to have been forced for migration?
He appealed political parties, bar association, trade and other organisations to discharge their duties and fight to get IIT and IIM for Kashmir and stop New Delhi from changing the nomenclature of bureaucracy and administration by rewarding Pandits with job packages.
