Ghai initiates Great Indian Film and literature Festival in J&KThe legendary filmmaker Subhash Ghai recently visited the Raj Bhavan to meet Mr. NN Vohra, Governor of Jammu and Kashmir to discuss a new festival – Great Indian Film and literature Festival – in the state and also seeked support for TV, film, theatre and literature artists.

Ghai headed a delegation of White Walls Media with Karan Kukreja, Kumar Amit Sinha and Divank Rastogi, onr of the founders of the fest in attendance.

The delegation explained the Governor of their fest’s Kashmir edition to be held at Srinagar. The governor also advised them to involve local art, literature, music and folk theatre groups in their attempt.

Talking about the festivals, the veteran director-producer says “Yes it was a very fruitful visit. The GIFLIF will be held in Srinagar on 22nd July with the support of Whistling Woods International, in presence of filmmakers and lietarture big-wigs. Im glad that the Kashmir government has given its full support.”

Subhash Ghai has been a part of kick starting the festival in many states previously and is going strong with a vision to promote the Indian film and literature culture way forward.
