Protest against anti-Kashmir moves to continue: Leaders

‘So-called rulers lying about conspiratorial plots’ - SeparatistsAll Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, and Hurriyet leaders, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik, have said that the rulers are lying about the separate townships for Kashmiri Pandits, colonies for retired Indian soldiers and India’s new Industrial Policy in the territory.

A consultation meeting of the three leaders was held in Srinagar in which they deliberated upon the recent statement of the so-called Minister for Industries in which he had said that industrial policy stood implemented from March 15th this year and there was no question of reviving it.

Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik in a joint statement issued after the meeting said, “These so-called rulers are playing hypocritical politics and lying about separate colonies and new industrial policy.” They said that the statement of the so-called Minister for Industries had exposed this hypocritical politics of PDP-BJP regime.

“Recently in the so-called Assembly, the Chief Minister said that industrial policy will be revisited. Also one of the so-called ministers in a press conference said this policy will be revived and hasn’t been implemented yet. But on Wednesday, the statement of so-called Minister for Industries has exposed their hypocritical politics and blatant lies that are only being spread to hoodwink public opinion and reduce public anger on these issues,” the joint statement said.

The leaders also referred to news reports about the process initiated by the puppet administration for identification of land in many districts of the Valley for setting up of separate townships for the Pandits. They also expressed concern over the recent custodial killing of a Bemina youth, Sheikh Tanveer Sultan, and said that this seemed to be a revival of custodial killings in the territory.

The senior resistance leaders said that all these conspiracies were being hatched by PDP-BJP administration for implementation of anti-Kashmir and anti-Muslim agenda of RSS and the only goal of these conspiracies was to harm the Muslim majority character of occupied Kashmir and turn majority into minority. They said, the people of occupied Kashmir, stand against these conspiratorial plots of RSS-backed PDP-BJP regime. ”During the consultations it was decided that joint resistance against these conspiratorial plots will continue,” the statement added.
