Rowing boats make Pro-Freedom Rally in south Kashmir
However, today it was in Jhelum that people rowed boats from Wurran Haal to Pazalpora in Bijbehara.
The “pro-freedom” boat rally was taken out early today and amid anti-India slogans culminated in Pazalpora area of Bijbehara.
There were around 40 boats with green flags and over a hundred people in them.
It has been a “norm” in South Kashmir that people take out rallies every day since this mass civil uprising was triggered after popular Hizbul Mujahideen militant commander was killed by forces in Kokernag area on July 08, 2016.
Meanwhile, a massive “Azaadi” rally is being held in Qaimoh area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Hurriyat patriarch Syed Ali Geelani telephonically addressed the rally asking people to “remain steadfast”.
Another such rally is being held in Dangerpora, Padgampora area of Awantipora where thousands of people assembled in Agriculture farm today.
