Our youth writing history with their blood: Geelani
Paying glorious tributes to Muzafar Iqbal Naikoo, who was killed in an encounter at Mochwa, Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman, Syed Ali Geelani today “our youth are arrested, tortured and then shot dead, but later forces present it as an encounter.”
“The forces are notoriously known as masters of fake encounters and whenever they arrest a freedom fighter, they eliminate him through such executions. Local population of Mochwa rejected the forces claim and said that at about 11.25 pm we heard a few gun shots after which we found the body of Muzafar,” he said.
“Our youth are writing a history by their blood, which puts a huge responsibility on us to safeguard these sacrifices and never to compromise with the mission of martyrs,” he said.
“We in no way can forget the sacred blood of our loved ones and the oppressor along with its local agents need to be conveyed in clear terms that we will protect and honour each drop of the blood of our martyrs, as it is a moral binding on us to do so, to get rid of the forceful control,” Geelani added.
