Gunfight erupts in Tral, Qazigund
A gunfight is underway between the militants and the state government forces in Laam, Tral area of Awantipora in district Pulwama.
A police official informed Kashmir Post that the Police, Army and CRPF are jointly dealing with the situation.
A fierce gunfight erupted between militants and the state government forces in Nowbug Kund area of Qazigund in district Anantnag on Tuesday morning.
A police official told Kashmir Post that acting on specific information, SOG Kulgam and 9RR of Army cordoned off Nowbug Kund.
As the search operation was in progress the militants opened fire, triggering off a gunfight.
