What they achieved being loyal to Delhi for 70 years? Separatists mock arch rivals

After being dubbed by the BJP leadership as the parties working at the behest of Pakistan in Kashmir, the mainstream parties on Friday came under fire from the separatists who questioned them what have they achieved by being loyal to Delhi for 70 years.

This stinging remark against the NC and PDP was made by All Parties Hurriyat Conference chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Twitter: “NC, PDP despite doing New Delhi’s biddings at the cost of betraying their own people, have not been able to earn New Delhi’s trust.”

He was referring to the political ridicule to which the NC and PDP were subjected to by the BJP immediately after the two parties joined hands.

The BJP leader was pointing towards Pakistan and implied that they were taking instructions from Islamabad for all their political moves as he had also mentioned that “the PDP and NC boycotted local bodies election last month because they had instructions from across the border.”

He went on to add, “Probably, they had fresh instructions from across the border to come together and form a government. What they did prompted the Governor to look into the whole issue”.
