Ramazan to begin in Saudi Arabia tomorrow

Thursday would be observed in Saudi Arabia as the first day of Ramazan, said the Saudi Supreme Court on Tuesday night.

Other countries where Ramazan would begin on Thursday include Qatar and Jordan.

Similarly, the UAE Ramazan Moon Sighting Committee announced that the holy month would begin in the United Arab Emirates on Thursday, said website of the Khaleej Times.

After a meeting of the committee on Tuesday night, UAE Justice Minister Sultan bin Saeed Al Badi said that Wednesday (June 17) would be the last day of Sha’aban, the website added.
