Valley, Bhaderwah observe shutdown against Sopore killings
A shutdown is being observed in the valley on Wednesday against the recent killings in Sopore. The protest shutdown call has been given by all the separatist leaders including Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Mohammad Yasin Malik and Shabir Ahmad Shah.
Reports said that Bhaderwah is also observing a shutdown on the call of separatists.
Shops, business establishments and schools are closed in the summer capital while as public transport is off the roads however, private transport was plying.
Reports of partial shutdown have also come from all the district headquarters of Kashmir.
Four civilians were killed in last eight days by unidentified gunmen however police only yesterday came out the names of two militants allegedly involved in the killings.
