The delegation comprising representatives of business chambers and ambassadors of various Arab countries will hold meeting with Chief Minister Mufti Muhammad Sayeed.

He said the delegation will explore the possibilities of investment in Kashmir and highlight Jammu and Kashmir to foreign investors.

“A joint survey will be conducted by AACC and KCCI to find ways to give boost to business between Kashmir and Arab region,” he added.

The delegation will also discuss technical education and skill development for Kashmiri youth. “Following AACC visit to the valley, a delegation of KCCI will visit several unexplored business destinations across Asia and Arab to join hands with leading business houses,” Ashiq said.

“Food processing and several other sectors like handicrafts, horticulture and multi-sectoral vocational training courses will be discussed during the visit,”  he said.

On the lines of AACC’s global level exhibition, KCCI is planning to hold a similar exhibition in Srinagar. Training programs for Kashmiri youth will be held by Japanese and South Korean governments to make them employable, he said.
