2 Dies, 2 Injured In Road Mishaps

Srinagar, January 09: Two persons died and two others were injured in different road accidents in Valley.
An unidentified Santro Car hit Mohammad Ashraf Dar, age 18 years, son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Marval, Pulwama at Railway Tunnel, Tengen Nowgam, Srinagar, resulting in his on spot death. A case has been registered in this regard.
In continuation to accident on 07.01.2013, on National Highway at Sangrama, Sopore, in the jurisdiction of police station Tarzoo. The injured pedestrian Abdul Jabbar Bhat, age 38 years, son of Ali Mohammad resident of Delina, Baramulla succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar.
A Tipper bearing registration number JK13A/5680 driven by Muzaffar Ahmad Wagay son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Mughal Gund, Qazigund hit a Truck bearing registration number JK02E/4984 which in turn hit a parked Truck bearing registration number JK02AN/2155 at Doonipora, on the National Highway, Anantnag. The Tipper and Truck bearing registration JK02E/4984 were damaged in the accident. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Load Carrier Chasis Number MV-X0000ZPP5573599 hit and injured a pedestrian Sheikh Aabid son of Farooq Ahmed resident of Manigam near Town Hall, Ganderbal. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
Today Sumo bearing registration number JK05A/0988 driven by Nazir Ahmad Khan son of Abdul Rashid resident of Brain and another Sumo bearing registration number JK01K/4197 driven by Owais Ahmad Ahanger son of Nazir Ahmad resident of Malfaq Hazratbal collided near Chasma Shahi crossing in which one person Mohammad Maqbool Khan son of Mukhtar Ahmad resident of Watalpora, Tangmarg got injured. The injured was shifted to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar for treatment.
