Time to throw out JK’s kings: Dr Jitendera

‘Family rule plagued this state for many decades’

Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Dr Jitendera Singh, Monday said time has come when people of JK must throw the “kings who have looted the state for their own benefits out of their chairs.”
Addressing a gathering of BJP workers at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium here, also addressed by PM Narendra Modi, Dr Jitendera while quoting famous poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz said time has come when chairs of power need to be changed and crowns of kings thrown out.
“Kashmir has suffered a lot. Some people tested our patience, while some ruled the state to fill their own pockets and left people suffer,” he said. “But Prime Minister Narendera Modi has emerged as new hope for this place. He will lead this place towards development and prosperity. This place will witness a new change.”
He said family rule has plagued this state for past many decades. “But it is time for a change. The new BJP government will ensure that corruption is rooted out,” he said. He said it’s high time when people of Kashmir must take a pledge to build a new JK under the leadership of PM Modi.
