Grenade lobbed in Bijbehara, Two army men, Civilian injured
Two army men and a civilian were injured on Saturday after suspected militants tossed a grenade near a police station in Bijbehara area of Islamabad (Anantnag) district in south Kashmir.
Following the attack, there were reports of an exchange of gunfire near the police station located on Srinagar-Jammu highway.
The injured civilian, identified as Farooq Ahmad of Dupatyar village of Bijbehara, has been shifted to Bijbehara Sub-district hospital for treatment.
The injured army men have been shifted to Army Base Hospital in Srinagar for treatment, said an official.
