Shah-e-Hamdan Football Tournament: Benologa FC, Jawbrara lifts trophy

The final of the Shah-E-Hamdan football tournament organized by the local Rashtriya Rifles Unit of Tral under the aegis of Chinar Corps & Victor Force was played between Benologa FC, Jawbrara Vs Blazer FC, Awantipora at Tsaraligund football ground, Tral.

Amidst scintillating display of football and enthusiastic crowds, Benologa FC, Jawbrara defeated  Blazer FC, Awantipora by scoring 3-0  goals.

Ishfaq Malla was declared man of the match and player of the tournament for scoring two goals in the final match and 16 goals in the tournament. Maj Gen Arvind Dutta, VSM, General Officer Commanding Victor Force gave away the prizes in the closing ceremony of the tournament, a handout said.

The champion’s trophy, cash award of Rs 10,000 was presented to the winning team and cash award of Rs 5,000 were presented to the runners up team. Apart from this many more prizes and cash rewards were presented to the players. Brig Anmol Sood, Commander 1 Sector Rashtriya Rifles besides a large number of civil dignitaries was also present to encourage the players and to witness the game.
