Youth congress demands ban on sale of liquor in JK
J&K Pradesh Youth Congress State General Secretary and Executive Member J&K Pradesh Congress committee Sheikh Aamir Rasool today demanded blanket ban on consumption and sale of liquor in J&K State.
“Six states including Kerala, Bihar, Nagaland, Manipur, Gujarat and Mizoram have already banned the liquor. The J&K State government should also consider banning it in the state,” said Aamir Rasool in a statement today .
Liquor is root cause of dwindling household economy and domestic and social violence across the state he said.
Aamir Rasool further said that total prohibition of liquor is need of hour and and state govt should do it if it’s serious about future of our youth and This will result in a social revolution he added .
