Baramulla again under siege, scores of youth arrested
At least three youths are believed to have been arrested so far in a search operation launched earlier today in Old town area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. This is the second such operation in the area during this week.
During the previous operation on Monday, 44 youths were arrested by government forces, including army, police and the CRPF.
Reports said that early today, forces cordoned off Al Mustafa colony, Faqirwani and Drangbal area of the town.
Police sources said that three youths allegedly involved in stone-pelting protests have been arrested so far in the ongoing operation.
