JK to submit health sector plan to Centre before Jan 31st

Jammu and Kashmir government will submit the state’s health sector plan to the Centre for the next Financial-Year before the stipulated time of January 31, 2015.

The plan of state for the next Financial Year for Health sector shall be submitted to the Government of India before the stipulated time of 31st January 2015 after making the necessary changes as suggested by a Union Health Ministry team, Commissioner-Secretary to Government, Health & Medical Education department, Gazzanfer Hussain said.

In this direction, he has briefed the team, which had arrived in Jammu on a three-day visit to facilitate the finalisation of State Programme Implementation Plan (SPIP) of National Health Mission, Jammu and Kashmir for the Year 2015-16.

He briefed the team, which also suggested some changes for incorporation in the plan, including additional plan for Quality Assurance in Health Sector, reduction in plan of Disease Control Programmes, streamlining of procurement system and functioning of 102 ambulance services.
