Jammu sizzles as mercury crosses 40 degree mark
The maximum temperature recorded at 40.5 Degrees Celsius on Monday, forced the people to stay indoors. As the day progressed, the roads started presenting a deserted look.
The Jammu residents today had a tough time as mercury went past the 40 degrees Celsius mark, while the unscheduled power cuts at regular intervals across the city also made life difficult for the people.
The maximum temperature recorded at 40.5 Degrees Celsius on Monday, forced the people to stay indoors. As the day progressed, the roads started presenting a deserted look.
The ever busy markets of the city also presented a similar view.
However, amid a hot day, the unscheduled power cuts in different areas of the city including Bhagwati Nagar, Krishna Nagar, New Company Bagh, Bakshi Nagar, Mahesh Pura, Talab Tillo Bohri and adjoining areas also added to the people’s miseries.
