Historic Noori Chamb waterfall in Kashmir attracts summer touristsThe Noori Chamb waterfall in Jammu and Kashmir has become a major attraction as tourists from the state and across India are thronging the place to get respite from the summer heat. Named after Mughal Queen Noor Jahan, the waterfall is of historical significance as it is believed the Queen used to bathe in drizzling water during her visit to the state. Another tourist from northern state of Punjab, Jagmohan, was also left enchanted by the beauty of the waterfall. The historic waterfall is situated between Behramgala and Chandimarh on Mughal Road and is 45 kilometres from Poonch district. Kashmir is considered as one of the best tourism destinations in the country with the hospitality of the valley well-known that adds to the popularity of the tourism sector.
