Srinagar-Poonch bus service launched

Minister for Transport, Abdul Gani Kholi this morning formally launched bus service from Srinagar to Poonch, Rajouri via Shopian and Mughal road.

Acting MD SRTC, RTO Kashmir and senior officers of SRTC and Transport Department were present on the occasion.

The Minister said the service will benefit large number of people living in the hilly and border areas, especially businessmen and traders community.

The Minister asked Managing Director SRTC and RTO to make sure that bus service will be available to the people throughout the week. He asked them to make proper arrangements for booking of seats at Srinagar, Poonch and Rajouri.
