e-Curfew initiated in parts of valley

Residents of north Kashmir’s Baramulla, Kupwara and bandipora district Wednesday said the mobile internet services were snapped there on Wednesday without any prior notice.
“Mobile internet services went off exactly at 6 pm. We tried to contact customer care but couldn’t,” a group of residents from the area told .
Similar reports poured in from Handwara and Kupwara towns.
Police sources said the decision to snap internet was a “precautionary measure to maintain peace.”
