KEA calls for UN Chalo on August 6 over Article 35A Row
A faction of Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) has given Kashmir Bandh and UN Chalo call on August 6 against the hearing on Article 35A.
KEA chairman Mohammed Yousef Chapri while addressing the media here in Srinagar said they would fight tooth and nail to protect the special status of the J&K.
He said Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) would submit memorandum in UNMOGIP against proposed abrogation of special status (Article 35A) in Jammu and Kashmir.
Earlier, Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) co-chairman Farooq Ahmad Dar said abrogation of special status (Article 35A) is direct attack on autonomy of the Jammu and Kashmir.
He blamed that “central government is implementing agenda of the RSS as they are hell bent to do away with Article 370 which gives J&K special status in the country.” “The wound inflicted on the state’s autonomy through extension of GST is still fresh as another new machination has been launched to question the validity of Article 35A now,” he said.
