Four CRPF Among Eight Persons Injured In Grenade Attack
Eight persons including four CRPF troops injured in a grenade blast in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, an official told Valley Media Service.
Unknown persons today hurled a grenade towards CRPF party near Chee Gali, KP road in Anantnag.
Eight persons including 4 CRPF Personnel of 96 Bn got injured.
All the injured were shifted to district Hospital, Anantnag for treatment.
The injured have been identified as Abdul Majeed Mir S/O Habibullah R/O Kadipora, Anantnag, Abid Ali Lone S/O Ali Mohammad R/O Sarnal, Anantnag, Gulam Mohammad Wani S/O Mohd. Abdullah R/O Sagam, Kokernag, Bashir Ahmad Allai S/O Gulam Mohammad R/O Uttersoo, Shangus, Nisar Ahmad S/O Ali Mohammad R/O Poonch, Chander S/O Tilak Raj ( CRPF 96 Bn ), Sunil Dure ( CRPF 96 Bn ) and Chaman Lal Sharma S/O Bakhshi Sharma ( CRPF 96 Bn).
Meanwhile, Police and CRPF cordoned off the area to nab the attacker.
