Activate ‘lazy’ administration: BJP to Governor
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday urged Governor N N Vohra to pull-up the officers in Kashmir to ensure that people don’t face any hardships during the ongoing winter season.
In a statement here BJP spokesman Khalid Jehangir said; “Official machinery should wake up and ensure that people get all the facilities and don’t face difficulties due to severe cold conditions prevailing in Kashmir.”
He urged the Governor to monitor the situation personally and take stern action against the officials found involved in dereliction of duties. “People need all possible help and assistance from the administration during these difficult days,” he added.
“It’s obligatory on the administration to take care of the flood victims,” he said.
He exuded hope that the Governor would ensure that people, including flood victims, are provided all the facilities and administration remains at the disposal of the people.
