‘Panun Kashmir’ to hold demonstration on World Refugee Day
Panun Kashmir, an organisation representing migrated Kashmiri Pandits, will highlight plights of the displaced community on World Refugee Day, on Saturday.
A demonstration will be held here to make national and international communities recognise “the gruesome crime of genocide perpetrated on Hindus of Kashmir by Islamist forces aided and abetted by the state of Pakistan and its agencies”, Panun Kashmir said in a release.
The organisation claimed similar protests will be held in various parts of the country as well as in foreign countries.
World Refugee Day is observed on June 20 each year, to raise awareness on refugees throughout the world.
