For Health & Medical Education Deptt, Lal Singh still a minister

Although, the new government in Jammu and Kashmir is still to be formed, but for Health & Medical Education Department, Lal Singh still continues to be a minister and attends to people’s complaints as per the banner inside Super Specialty Hospital reading, “Hello Health Minister New Initiative”.

“Although, the phone number mentioned in the banner erected inside the premises of Super Specialty Hospital, Jammu, for lodging complaints is functional and the complaints are also being attended to by the staff, but the dates and timings mentioned for the former health minister to personally attend to the complaints have no takers”.

The banner reads, “Hello Health Minister New Initiative”. In the banner, it has been mentioned that former health minister will personally attend to the calls regarding complaints on 16th of every month between 11 AM to 1 PM.

Medical Superintendent, Super Specialty Hospital, Ramesh Gupta, when contacted, said,  “The calls regarding complaints are being regularly attended to and accordingly are also addressed by the staff members”.

“The report in this respect is also being sent to Commissioner Secretary, Health, on a daily basis”, he added.

It may also be mentioned that the banners of former minister could also be seen inside GMC.
