BSNL broadband non-functional at Parsibagh Jawaharnagar

Contrary to the claims of largest cellular network in India, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) service in flood-hit Parsibagh, Jawaharnagar is poor with subscribers threatening to switch over to private companies.
According to residents, the BSNL services have hit the lowest post-floods with poor and erratic connectivity impacting the speed to download or upload via internet.
Besides, poor broadband connectivity, BSNL is not adhering to what it promised for the flood-hit.
“Amidst the cry for relief for flood-hit as hyped by government or semi-government departments, BSNL too offered its helpful hand but in vain as it continues to charge for those months during which the network was off the hook,” said Imran Ahmad, a resident.
“BSNL is not fulfilling the norms to provide hassle-free connectivity in the area,” say the residents who have shot a letter of grievance to chief general manager BSNL based in New Delhi.
