BJP PDP creating regional imbalance
Benefiting themselves, not people: G.A. Mir
JK PCC Chief G.A. Mir has said that BJP and PDP are creating regional imbalance to benefit themselves and gain political mileage out of it. Congress being a unifying force won’t allow them to play with the sentiments of people. Congress alone can defeat forces who
are hell bent upon to divide the people of Jammu and Kashmir on religion or regional lines, JK PCC Chief said while addressing a day long convention at Ganderbal today.
Mir said that Congress being a unifying force
won’t allow anyone to create regional imbalance, for the Party (Congress) people of all the three regions of the State are same and must be treated equally. Congress Party is committed for equitable
development of all the three regions of State, progress and prosperity of People, would defeat the dubious intentions of those who are trying to create a wedge between the communities in the state.
PCC Chief recalled the historic steps taken by Congress led UPA I and UPA II with regard to the welfare and development of the J&K State
and people, while appreciating Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and Smt. Sonia Gandhi for taking revolutionary steps with regard to the overall Development of the State, JK PCC Chief said UPA Ist and UPA IInd left no stone unturned about benefitting people and were highly concerned for the well being and equal development of three
regions of the State. Praising Dr. Manmohan, Singh, Madam Sonia Gandhi and other leaders of UPA for their concern, JK PCC Chief said that the developmental projects started during UPA rule should be eye opener for all, particularly for Modi led Govt at Centre, which has let down the people of Jammu and Kashmir in all respects.
He lashed out at Centre and State Govts for their failure and lack of concern toward the plight of the people, no steps has been taken by the centre to compensate flood affected people, unemployment has risen considerably due to the wrong policies of PDP
BJP Coalition.
Mir urged the Govt to display some seriousness and take immediate measures for rehabilitating flood affected people in Kashmir and Jammu also.
PCC Chief hit out at both PDP and BJP for lack of coordination between them, he said both the parties are trying hard to remain on Driver’s seat in the Coalition to hide their failures, as both (BJP
PDP) have miserably failed to fulfill the promises made with the people.
Speaking on the occasion MLC and Vice President JK PCC G. N. Monga said it was the Congress Govt in the State which ensure holding of Panchayat Elections in the state, he castigated the present dispensation for trying to weaken the Panchayat Bodies to benefit
their MLAs and party Leaders, Congress party won’t allow anyone to weaken the Panchayat Bodies for personal benefit. Congress party is committed to serve the people equally in all the three regions of the State, he said.
Speaking on the occasion Former Minister & Senior Leader Taj Mohi U Din expressed confidence that Congress Party in the state is getting more stronger and committed to work for well being and development of the people. He assured the Workers convention that Congress Party would ensure the development of Ganderbal District and other Districts, on priority.
