Hurriyat (M) supports KCCI sponsored shut down callTerming the activities of right wing extremist groups in Rajouri under the garb of democracy as unacceptable, APHC leader said in a statement on Friday that the reaction of Kashmiri people and business as well as other socio- political organizations to such an incident was a natural one.

He said that such incidents were an open reflection of the fact that state machinery was backing and facilitating these elements which displays the anti-people and communal policies adopted by the present dispensation.

APHC leader said that the local district administration has taken no action against the miscreants who allegedly desecrated the articles of faith , but they were conducting raids on the houses to arrest the youth belonging to a specific community. He said as such the situation in Rajouri was being deliberately being pushed to the edge.

Meanwhile Hurriyat spokesman termed the strike call given by KCCI and other trade organizations on July 25 regarding the state terror in Rajouri as legitimate. He said people would observe strike and express complete solidarity with the people of Rajouri.
