Bus accident in Udhampur, atleast 14 dead
At least 14 people died while 30 others were injured in a road accident in Udhampur district of Jammu region on Tuesday.
An official said that an overcrowded bus met an accident in Ramnagar Tehsil of the district today morning, resulting into at least 14 deaths.
The bus was its way from Ghordi village to Ramnagar town in Udhampur district of Jammu region.
DC Udhampur Shahid Choudhary said that they fear more deaths as many passengers are injured and trapped.
“Fourteen deaths have been reported so far. But we fear more casualties. A rescue operation has been launched,” he said.
