Shutdown, Clashes amidst curfew like restrictions in Pulwama
Clashes erupted in south town of Pulwama and youth pelted stones on the men in uniform who retaliated by tear smoke shelling, reports said on Friday.
Umais Ahmad Sheikh alias Molvi alias Hamza S/O Farooq Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Chatepora Pulwama was killed in Bandipora last evening.
The town is observing complete shutdown against the killing of Umais.
Authorities had imposed curfew like restrictions in the town to prevent protests.
However, hundreds of youth defying restrictions came on streets who raised anti-India slogans and pelted stones on police and CRPF.
