Chess & Carrom tournaments conclude at Islamia College
Continuing with its Inter-group sports activities relevant during the holy month of Ramzan, Carrom and Chess tournaments were organised at the Physical education Hall of the college. About 80 students took part in the event.
The tournament was inaugurated by physical Director Altaf ur Rehman on Thursday. The tournament concluded on Friday with the selection completed for college carrom and chess teams who are likely to represent the college in forthcoming inter college tournaments to be organised by Kashmir University.
Inter group cricket tournament for the already selected cricket teams of the college is scheduled to start from 14th of June.
These tournaments are being conducted by Department of Physical Education of the College.
