Revert JK back to where it stood in 1953 : Omar Abdullah
“Restore our autonomy snatched from us through force”
Former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has said that it is the long pending demand of the National Conference that Jammu and Kashmir to be reverted back to the position where it stood in 1953. In an interview to an international agency Omar Abdullah said that Article 370 needs to be implemented in State in true shape and all the draconian laws should be repealed from the State.
“Whatever New Delhi has taken away rather snatched from us through force since 9 August 1953 should be given back to us and autonomy should be restored,” Omar Abdullah said.
Omar according to CNS said that people in Valley suffer due to callous attitude of New Delhi. “We have been repeatedly asking New Delhi to settle the Kashmir issue but no serious measures are being taken as a result Kashmir frequently witness unrest and people have to face lot of hardships,” he said.
