Police Public Cricket Premier League: Murtaza Warriors to take on Simula Super Stars in final

Murtaza Warriors will take on Simula Super Star in the finals of Police Public Cricket Premier League. Murtaza Warriors trounced TCI Max while Simula Stars defeated Anantnag Kings in the semifinals.

Warriors scored 109 runs for the loss of nine wickets in allotted 20 overs with Omer Nabi scoring 28 runs. In reply TCI Max could only manage 99 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.

Warriors won match by 10 runs. Omer Alam was declared man of the match for his outstanding performance with the ball by taking three wickets and securing 22 odd runs for the team. Best catch award was given to the Ishtiyaq of Murtaza worriers while maximum sixes award was given to Abid Haroon of TCI max.

The second semi-final was played between Anantnag Kings and Simula Super stars. Anantnag Kings won the toss and elected the bat first. Anantnag Kings scored 143 runs in 20 overs with Suhail Bashir scoring 35 runs. In response the Simula Super Stars chased the target successfully in 19 overs with Hardeep Singh scintillating knock of 51 runs, who was also declared the man of the match. Simula Super Stars won the semifinal by 4 wickets. Best catch of the match was awarded to Mansoor Ahmed of Anantnag Kings while the maximum sixes award was bagged by Suhail Bashir of Anantnag Kings. Superintendent’s of Police Manoj Kumar Pandita and Waseem Qadri awarded the gift cheques among the players.
