Sopore Killings joint ploy of intelligence, police: UJC

The Hizb chief was addressing a press conference here in Central Press Club (CPC).  He said the ‘political killings’ in Sopore have been started following the statement of India’s Defence Minister adding the minister’s statement was the endorsement and green signal to these killings in ‘mini-Pakistan’ (Sopore).

Sallah ud Din termed the allegations of Jammu and Kashmir police officers that Hizb was behind the killings, as baseless. “It was the plan of Indian agencies, Jammu and Kashmir Police, DIG North Kashmir and somewhere they may use the local renegades to fulfill their agenda,” he said. However, the UJC Chairman warned them that those are playing at the hands of Indian agencies to kill the political workers in Sopore, shall have to face music.

Asked if UJC knows the elements behind the Sopore killings then why their names are not being disclosed, Sallah ud Din said we want to warn them not to play at the hands of Indian agencies, if they don’t respond to our warning then nobody will save them in the limits of Kashmir.

Sallah ud Din said Sopore is the ‘pride of Kashmir’ and the people of the town are ‘heroes of the ongoing movement.’ “The people of Kashmir know that the Soporis will not bow before the enemy who wants to crush and bend them through these killings.”

 “Lashkar-e-Islam was the brainchild of Indian agencies who smartly created it and now use it to spread panic among people. The Indian military establishment wants to use the Lashkar-e-Islam presence as a justification for the existence of Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA). Waving Pakistani flags during the political rallies in Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir has sent an open message to New Delhi that Kashmiris don’t want to live with them. Through the civilian killings Indian military establishment wants to create fear among the separatist workers to keep them away from the anti-India rallies and demonstrations,” UJC chief added.

He also accused the Security Advisor of Prime Minister Modi of political killings in Kashmir saying the advisor was the basic member of RSS who wants to ‘eliminate every Kashmiri Muslim in Jammu and Kashmir.’

Following the economical corridor agreements between China and Pakistan, New Delhi was feeling isolation and pain however “we support these economical corridors and are indebted to China who is staunch supporter of the Kashmiris’ struggle.”

“ When India was trying to table a resolution at international level against me it was only China that officially announced to oppose India’s bid. On the bold stand of China people of Kashmir and I am personally thankful to the people and the Government of China,” Sallah ud Din added.

Hizb chief further said that following the Sopore killings, the Hurriyat (M) factions should join hands together to “foil the ploys of Indian military establishment who wants to see Kashmiri leaders divided. I once again appeal all separatist groups to shun their differences and forge unity among their ranks for the greater cause for which we have sacrificed a lot.”

Sallah ud Din also appealed Pakistan to come forward and support the Kashmiri people at military front to settle Jammu and Kashmir dispute once and for all.
