Madhu blames Mehbooba for letting BJP down

Madhu Kishwar, a long time friend of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President, Mehbooba Mufti took her to task for letting the rightwing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) down by delaying the government formation.

Kishwar, an ideologue of the BJP, who used to spend most of the time at the Fairview residence of the Muftis at Gupkar on her visits to Kashmir and in company of the BJP top brass as well as foot soldiers, criticized Mehbooba for playing hardball with BJP.

Kishwar, who tweets @madhukishwar, in a series of tweets launched a tirade at the PDP chief, criticizing her of creating a political uncertainty in the State.

“By climbing on high horse & abusing alliance with BJP as “unholy & unpopular” Mehbooba Mufti created needless crisis. Barkha wisdom at work?,” she tweeted.

Kishwar, known for her anti-Hurriyat and anti-Kashmir remarks, also blamed the conglomerate for Mehbooba’s reluctance on forming the government.

“Hurriyat insiders-Mehbooba Mufti reluctance 2 form govt in large part due to threats from Jamait, Hizbul & Pak to keep BJP out of Valley,” she tweeted. “Only Jamiat, Hizbul & their backers in Pak upset at BJP acquiring foothold in Valley, not ordinary Kashmiris. Mehbooba harming own status.”

Kishwar also blamed the former chief minister Mufti Muhammad Sayeed for thanking Pakistan for the peaceful 2014 Legislative Assembly polls.

“First Mufti sahib created furore by thanking Pak for allowing good election. Now Mehbooba attacks BJP for all else except Modi’s Pak policy,” she tweeted. “If BJP had capable MLAs in Jammu, alliance with PDP would have been less rocky.BJP Jammu team exceptionally untalented, clueless+greenhorns.”

Kishwar also trained her guns on Arun Jaitley and blamed him for the promoting mediocrity in the State BJP.

“Jammu BJP was always under Jaitley’s charge. As in Delhi so also in Jammu, Jaitley didn’t allow talented people to rise in Party,” she tweeted.

Kishwar also accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of being a promise breaker.

“Part of blame 4 shaky alliance with PDP must go to PM Modi.He promised the moon, said he’d make J&K “Super State”,& then forgot about it,” she tweeted. “If PM Modi had lived up to his promises to J&K,BJP cd have called Mehbooba’s bluff.Now both sides appear guilty, hence credibility loss.”

Kishwar also blamed the PDP-BJP government of being so dismal that people now were feeling relieved in Governor’s rule.

“This is perhaps first time that Kashmiris have welcomed Governor’s rule because he’s delivering far better than ruling coalition did,” she tweeted. “If fresh elections held in J&K, Congress & NC will be major gainers. Both BJP & PDP will suffer huge losses. Last wake up call now!”
