Amit Shah summons J&K BJP MLAs, Ministers to Delhi
All BJP ministers, MLAs and speaker J&K Assembly Kavinder Gupta have been summoned to New Delhi where they will be attending a meeting to be chaired by BJP president Amit Shah on September 25.
It was learnt that the ministers will be informed about some important party decisions at the meeting. This has given rise to speculations about a change in party’s ministerial arrangement in J&K.
The meeting is being held after BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav cut short his J&K visit and flew back to Delhi. In Srinagar, he held one-on-one meetings with deputy chief minister Nirmal Singh, health minister Bali Bhagat, minister of state for education Priya Sethi and a couple of other BJP ministers at Sethi’s residence.
Madhav also met a few RSS leaders separately there and discussed with them the prevailing situation besides working of the BJP ministers, an RSS leader privy to the meetings said.
